Configuring Single Sign On With iMIS 20

This article provides the information you need to configure Single Sign On for Advanced Communities (GoLightly) to work with iMIS 20. To find information about configuring the Databridge, please see the article "Upgrading to iMIS 20 or Moving to New Server".

Versions 20.1 or earlier

Step 1
Download this file: http://www.golightly.com/LoginStatusRedirect.zip
Place the contents of this ZIP file on your iMIS server, in this AsiCommon folder:
/AsiCommon/Controls/Shared/FormsAuthentication/

Step 2
Try to visit this file in your browser, and make sure it can execute:
YOUR_ROOT_URL_AND_FOLDER/AsiCommon/Controls/Shared/FormsAuthentication/LoginStatusRedirect.aspx
If it does not execute, change the permissions of the file to allow it to run.

Step 3
Within your community, enter the Admin Tools area. Go to “Verify iMIS Installation” and find section 6. Click the “show” link.

Step 4
Set 6.1 “SocialNetworkSingleSignOn.aspx uses local path OR full URL with 'http’?” to “Local Path Only”.

Step 5
Set 6.2 “SocialNetworkSingleSignOn.aspx script location?” This will be the URL and path to the LoginStatusRedirect.aspx page you found on your iMIS server above in Step 1.
FULL URL:
http://www.yourdomain.org/YOUR_PATH/...sRedirect.aspx
LOCAL PATH:
/YOUR_PATH/AsiCommon/Controls/Shared/FormsAuthentication/LoginStatusRedirect.aspx
Set 6.3 “Where is current login page?” to the URL of your member login page.
Set 6.4 to “ReturnURL”
Set 6.5 “Sign-out URL?” to:
http://www.yourdomain.org/YOUR_PATH/...on/Logout.aspx

Step 6
Test the login process.


Versions 20.2 or later

Step 1
On your iMIS server, find the file (“LoginStatusRedirect.aspx”) in the AsiCommon folder:
/AsiCommon/Controls/Shared/FormsAuthentication/LoginStatusRedirect.aspx
If you do not find this file, please jump down to the “Earlier Version” section below

Step 2
Try to visit this file in your browser, and make sure it can execute:
YOUR_ROOT_URL_AND_FOLDER/AsiCommon/Controls/Shared/FormsAuthentication/LoginStatusRedirect.aspx
If it does not execute, change the permissions of the file to allow it to run.

Step 3
